| September 2008 - Catch report for www.moorlandfisheries.co.uk/ The totals for the last two weeks are as follows. 17 catfish to 60.0 lb plus 94 carp including 32 thirties and 7 forties Top end carp; 35.08 lb, 36.05 lb, 36.00 lb, 37.03 lb, 38.10 lb, Common of 41.07 lb Mirrors of 41.04 lb, 42.13 lb, 45.05 lb, 42.04 lb, 42.03 lb, & 42.07 lb. As I write this the lake is now full and the stream is running but the water temperature is continuing to drop so I hope the feeding spell doesn’t come to a premature end. |

| September 2008- catch report for www.Starmerbaits.comWhat a weeks fishing for Brendon from Ireland. 4 personal bests in 1 week from fishing from the lakeside apartments, loads of carp to 40lb with 3 best over 40lb to 45lb, cats to 50lb and sturgeons to mid 30lb. August 2008 - catch report for www.carp-fishing-in-france.eu SURFACE FISHING. Fishing is getting better all the time with the nice weather,carp are being taken from the surface fishing with dog biscuits. Plenty of doubles,and upper doubles to 28lbs with grass carp to 35lbs.
BOTTOM FISHING.
Early morning being best with a lot of runs coming before 11 o'clock,again lots of doubles and twenties, and the best last week a 35lbs 7ounce mirror. |
